Its always t stanley cup he indicator that seems to lag behind the others, so we do have a plan working through our team to support our schools, said Ennis, referencing the Ministry of Educations math achievement action plan, which every school board is required to develop to ensure accountability for math academic achievement. This years recently released EQAO results, based on assessments from the 2023/2024 school year, showed that HDSB students are well above the provincial standard in grades 3 and 6 reading and writing and Grade 9 mathematics and the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test OSSLT . ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW Grade 3 results showed that 69 per cent of HDSB students met or exceeded provincial standards in mathematics, 77 per cent met or exceeded provincial standards in reading and 71 per cent in writing.In Grade 6, 62 per cent of HDSB students met or exceeded provincial standards in math, 88 per cent met or exceeded provincial stanley cup standards in reading and 87 per cent in writing.
